An "orientalist" is a person who studies or specializes in the languages, cultures, history, or customs of the East, particularly East and Southeast Asia.
As fashion explorers, we are fascinated by the exotic aesthetics offered by other countries. The Lolita fashion was created by Japanese designers who were influenced by Western countries.
These designers did not limit their creativity, so they took this fashion style and incorporated it with aesthetics from other cultures too. That resulted in interesting variations like Wa Lolita (和ロリ), Qi Lolita (チーロリ) or Han Lolita (華ロリ).
I hope that this collection can help create inclusivity for other fashionistas who are interested in this aesthetic. I hope to do this by sharing and showcasing the rich Asian culture through traditional accessories designed with a modern twist.
